I work with businesses like Hale Akua Garden Farm, which is a retreat center on the north shore of Maui. As an organic farm, they don’t make enough income. Building up their business as a retreat center, and a bed and breakfast has put them on the road to profitability. I was sent over to Maui several times in 2017-2018 for business management consulting work.
I function as the Associate Director at Hale Akua Garden Farm . I hire and train staff, and set systems in place to operate the business. I set up websites and social media accounts for the business to reach out to new customers. I set up purchasing, deposits, payroll and other systems. I have worked with Lodgit Desk and Retreat Guru systems. I advise on legal and financial matters. I do a lot of problem solving for issues that come up.
