Biography

Edward Ellsworth is an experienced business consultant.  He has an extensive background in business management, computer administraion, domain name and website building. Edward has founded several companies, and also has worked as a Corporate Executive in the C-Suite of several companies.

He works on projects including event planning and management, technical direction, live streaming, video editing, media production, video engineering, and web design.
With more than 35 years of experience across the media production industry, Edward is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Aloha Broadcasting, a Hawaii nonprofit organization. Prior to that, he was CEO of Enlightened Films, he started this California S-corporation production company in 2015.

As Chief Executive Officer, he also wears the hat of Video Producer, so he produces shows, videos, and websites for corporate clients and conferences. Edward has worked with numerous AV production teams including Williams Signal, Mountain View Staging, Four Moon Productions, Webb Productions, Conference Recording Services, Immersive AV, AVC Anton Video Concepts, Video Tech Services, and The AVent Techs on various shows.
Edward was an Independent Producer for various clients, expos, festivals and conferences. During this time, his production services included graphics, compositing, camera work, video editing, and compression for the web, CD, and DVD. 

Along with his professional career, Edward serves on the Board of Directors for nonprofit organization Chaksampa, a Tibetan dance and opera company. He also spent time serving on the Board of Directors for Sunrise Center, a nonprofit organization in California and Maui.

Edward received an Associate of Science from Cypress College, and Psychiatric Technician Certification and licensure. He received a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Psychology, and Comparative Literature (Folklore and Mythology), from California State University Long Beach in 1979. Edward attended the Master’s Program in Research Psychology at California State University San Francisco, completing All But Thesis (because he released the dolphins that were the research subjects from captivity).
